Elderly people deserve to live independently, with or without help, for as long as possible. When people become too dependent on home help or friends and relatives are not able to provide the necessary support, other alternatives need to be found. That is where Anneke Residence comes into play.

Anneke Residence offers its residents a professional, tailor-made service in a homely environment. Individual needs, desires and routines are taken into consideration as much as possible.

At Anneke Residence we believe that it is important for residents to organise their own lives whenever possible. Residents decide themselves, for as long and much as they wish, what care they receive and how to spend the day

Only when someone is no longer able to make autonomous decisions, family, doctors and specialists will discuss suitable alternatives.

Anneke Integral Care Services also co-operates with other nursing homes in the area.

Anneke Residence has a typical Costa Blanca atmosphere, with our residents coming from different cultural backgrounds. Dutch, Spanish, English as well as Belgian, German and Scandinavian people all feel at home in Anneke Residence. This diversity gives an extra dimension to the atmosphere and forges unique social contacts.

Anneke Residence offers a safe environment for residents with psycho-geriatric and somatic complaints as well as a comfortable environment for residents needing rehabilitation.

Anneke Residence is particularly suitable for people with memory and/or orientation problems such as dementia or Alzheimer’s. The building, garden and terraces are designed specifically to accommodate their needs.

People with a terminal illness are assured of specialist care in Anneke Residence; care that is aimed at minimising their suffering, both mentally and physically.

For people who need to rehabilitate, for example after a hip or knee operation, Anneke Residence also offers the right professional support.

Services

It goes without saying that, along with a 24 hour medical and psycho-geriatric service, Anneke Residence also has a team of co-workers offering the following services:

• Personal care: laundry, pedicure, hair dresser, optician.
• Transport: the wheelchair bus takes residents to external specialists or can be used for excursions.
• Home help and care for the partner who stays at home.
• Administrative support: legal paperwork, statements, letters, health insurances.
Mediation for return to the home country and admittance to a nursing home.
